A coin becomes a real GoFundMe donation - in five transparent steps
No donations to collect and no middleman skimming the top - the trading fees a coin already generates are locked on-chain, converted to dollars through the Kraken API, and donated to the cause's GoFundMe with a public receipt. Here is the whole flow, end to end.
1. Launch a coin for a GoFundMe
- On the Launch page you pick a GoFundMe from the directory or paste one's link, name the coin (name, ticker, image) and connect your wallet.
- The coin is a normal pump.fun coin - you pay the launch and keep your dev supply.
- The coin's creator (its fee recipient) is set to the fund's own on-chain escrow and locked, so its creator fees can only ever flow to the cause. The coin isn't published until we confirm this on-chain.
- Already launched a coin elsewhere? Use Register: point the coin's fee sharing at the fund escrow on pump.fun, revoke it, and we verify the locked handover on-chain.
2. Fees are claimed and split
- As people trade the coin it generates creator fees in both the bonding-curve and PumpSwap vaults.
- A worker claims each coin's fees continuously into the fund's own on-chain escrow.
- Every claim is split: 80% toward the cause, 20% to buy back and burn $Donate.
- Each claim is written on-chain and shown on the coin page and Capital Flow with a link to the transaction.
3. Converted to US dollars
- The cause's 80% is converted from crypto to US dollars automatically through the Kraken API.
- The dollars are withdrawn to the payout bank account, so the amount waiting for the campaign is stable and ready.
- The conversion is tracked and shown against the coin, so the crypto-to-dollars step is visible too.
4. Donated to the GoFundMe
- GoFundMe has no payout API, so the final donation is made by hand on the campaign page - the honest limit of using GoFundMe.
- Each cause's accumulated dollars are scheduled as a payout, donated to its GoFundMe, and the receipt is uploaded.
- That receipt is posted on the coin page, so the last step is proven by a real GoFundMe receipt, not just a number.
5. Every step is tracked
- Fees claimed, the 80/20 split, the conversion to dollars, and the GoFundMe donation each become a record on the coin's page.
- Crypto steps link to their Solana transactions; the donation links to its GoFundMe receipt.
- So anyone can follow a coin's money from a trade all the way to the campaign.
Locked on-chain, and every donation has a receipt
Anyone can slap "for a good cause" on a coin - and usually the fees just go to whoever launched it. Donate is different: a coin's creator fees are locked on-chain to the cause's own escrow (verified before the coin ever goes live), then converted to dollars through the Kraken API and donated to the cause's real GoFundMe - with the receipt posted on the coin page. Every step from a trade to the campaign is tracked, so you never have to take our word for it.
